Funding History

Project MORE grant funds were initially made possible in 1999 by the Ohio General Assembly Am Sub HB 282 and awarded through competitive grants by the Ohio Department of Education Division of Early Childhood (1999-2001).

The Ohio General Assembly renewed Project MORE funding for the 2001-2005 bienniums.

Project MORE was funded (2005-2007) with Title VI-B monies through Ohio Department of Education’s Office for Exceptional Children.

The Ohio General Assembly’s budget bill (6/30/07) awarded a special education enhancement line item for Project MORE through June 30, 2009.

July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010, Project MORE was funded through U.S. Department of Education.

Project MORE was previously funded by the Ohio Department of  Education’s Office for Exceptional Children.

Project MORE is no longer grant funded and must rely on participation from individual schools.
